About the role 🤖💻

We’re looking for an Android Engineer to join our Engineering team!
You’ll help implement new features across our Android apps and SDK, while continuously improving the existing codebase. You’ll work closely with our firmware team to ensure we deliver the best possible digital experience to our users.

Your day-to-day includes:

• Implementing new features and UI using Jetpack Compose
• Monitoring performance via Firebase
• Optimising the app for new devices and Android versions

As our Engineering team is small, it's important to know that you’d be the only Android Engineer in the company. You'll work closely with a tight-knit team of iOS and Backend Engineers, as well as a QA, and collaborate with our Firmware Engineers on a daily basis. This role offers both ownership and impact — perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, cross-functional teamwork, and shaping the Android experience from the ground up.

About you 👨🏻‍⚕️👩🏽‍⚕️

You’re a proven Android developer who understands modern Android architecture and has hands-on experience with:

• MVI pattern
• Jetpack Compose
• Dependency injection
• RESTful APIs
• Git
• CI/CD pipelines
• Bonus points if you’ve worked with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)!
• You care deeply about the user experience and quality of your work. 
• You collaborate well with others but can also take ownership and drive solutions independently. 
• You’re open, transparent, and curious — always ready to learn and adapt.
